What does KatKow have to do with Yoga?

It is a term used to describe the opposite movements in the spine when practising asana. This movement of the spine from Kow -

extension, then into Kat - flexion will maintain a healthy and supple spine (read more on Why Yoga page). When co-ordinated with the inhale (Kow) and exhale (Kat) it massages our nervous system which gives a feeling of calm and brings us into the present moment.

Hatha Yoga is the balancing of polarities. Ha - Sun, tha - Moon. KatKow
can be found in all asana postures, from the simple all fours position to the advanced postures of headstand.

I will assist you in finding your inner KatKow that will
take you to better
health.
